Thomas M. Hill

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ill. (Aug. 23, 1928) — Thomas M. Hill was born May 23, 1861, died August 16, 1928. he was married to Lucinda J. Martin August 27, 1885. To this union was born one son, Pearl Hill, now living in West Frankort, Illinois. After the death of his first wife, he was married to Gradia White, June 14, 1891 and to this unioin was born three children; Pearl, Herbert and Goolie.

He also leaves a step son Loren White, nine grand children, father, mother, four brothers, Jack Hill, Walter Hill, Otto Hill, Roy E. Hill and three sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Hester Garland and Minnie Garland, besides many loved friends at his home town who so kindly assisted in caring for him.

He professed faith in Christ 39 years ago and united with the Presby terian Church at Potters Memorial, lived a true Christian until he died.

His funeral was preached at his home by Rev Keer, his body was laid to rest to await the resurrection of the just.

May God bless the widow and children in their sorrow. Peace to my dear brother.
